This workout is for your upper body only and is great to do before or after a walk, run, cycle or other lower body exercise.
It includes a warm-up with a resistance band, 8 upper body exercises in 4 groups of 2 and upper body stretches to finish off.
It is targeted at all fitness levels with various options so choose the variation that suits you best. Add in more weights, reps, sets if you need or conversely, reduce the same to suit. Rest when needed.
What you need for the workout is:
An exercise mat or rug/carpet/towel
A set of dumbbells or water/milk bottles filled with sand/stones or a resistance band or a pair of tights
2 sturdy stools side by side/sofa/coffee table/side of bed
A study low-lying post or fixture to wrap the resistance band around (optional)
