So how does personal training work?

THE FIRST SESSION
Our first session is a consultation involving a lot of talking about you! With this session I try to get as broad a picture of you as I can such as your lifestyle, your exercise history and what you want to achieve from your personal training sessions. I do health checks such as blood pressure and body fat analysis and also do some strength and endurance assessments to ascertain at what level to start your training. This holistic picture of you helps me to work with you to set achievable exercise goals and to design a programme for you that you will enjoy and to which you will adhere. This session can take anything from 1 – 1.5 hours.

WEEKLY SESSIONS
After that we kick into our weekly sessions which are generally 1 hour long covering mobility, aerobic exercise, strength and conditioning exercises, posture-correction exercises, core conditioning and flexibility. I vary my workouts to make them interesting, enjoyable and motivating for you.
